Meet the Project Management Team!!

Behind the scenes at InterSolutions, our back office is powered by talented teams ensuring everything runs seamlessly. Today, we’re focusing on our Project Management Team—the masterminds who turn ideas into action and keep projects on track. We sat down with them to learn more about them, and here’s what they had to say!

First, a quick introduction to our team:

MC, Systems Project Manager – “I joined InterSolutions in January 2024. Prior to my time at ISI, I was a project manager focused primarily on HR Technology consulting and implementation.”

Greg Milakovic, Senior Systems Administrator – “I have been with Kares Management for 8, going on 9 years, 5 of which have been here on the InterSolutions side.”

Alexa Wilansky, Systems Project Coordinator – “Hello! My name is Alexa, and I live in New Jersey. I began my journey with InterSolutions in 2022 as a staffing specialist in Los Angeles. I enjoyed working with every partner in that role and have had the opportunity to grow and evolve in various capacities. With an MBA and approximately 10 years of experience in Project Management, transitioning to staffing felt like a natural fit. I’ve embraced the challenges and opportunities it has brought, and recently, I stepped into a Project Management role in March of this year, which I absolutely love. Planning and problem-solving are central to both my career and lifestyle.”

What inspired you to join the InterSolutions team?

MC – “I was drawn to InterSolutions by the opportunity to return to HR Technology as a system administrator and support team leader. I saw an opportunity to leverage my existing skills, build new skills, and make an impact and I couldn’t resist.”

Greg – “I was brought in to lead the TAD, centralized recruiting, department. Now, I am helping the company through another platform transition!”

Alexa – “My husband actually inspired me to join InterSolutions. I was seeking a new challenge, and staffing provided just that. With my background in Project Management, the switch felt like a no-brainer. I’m a planner through and through.”

In your opinion, what is the best part of your job?

MC – “PROBLEM SOLVING – I’m passionate about finding ways to improve processes, enhance technology, and provide working solutions that make day-to-day work lives just a little easier for our internal teams and our customers. I love collaborating with different teams to drive meaningful change and ensure we continue to evolve to meet the needs of this industry.”

Greg – “Being in a support role and working with all areas of the company. Working with and alongside the different parts of the company is a lot of fun.”

Alexa – “The best part of my job is my team! If I had to pick a task, it would be problem-solving and working on different PM assignments. It feels like I’m part of something impactful.”

How do you stay motivated in your role?

MC – “I stay motivated by focusing on the bigger picture—how my work impacts the company, our clients, and the people we serve. Continuous learning is also a huge motivator for me. I enjoy tackling new challenges, embracing change, and finding creative solutions to complex problems.”

Greg – “I have expensive habits and hobbies and need money to fund them :)”

Alexa – “The people. I work with an amazing team and have made some great connections over the years. It’s hard to dislike your role when you have a true support system and like-minded individuals to bounce ideas off of. Continuous learning and adapting to new challenges also keep me energized.”

What is your favorite way to spend time outside of work?

MC – “I know it’s like THE MOST cliche answer, but I love spending time with my family! We have 5 kids and that means we are always on the go. I try to carve out one night a week just for me so I can be active and socialize with other adults. Depending on what time of year it is you can catch me playing volleyball or softball and very, VERY occasionally a washers tournament.”

Greg – “Golfing year-round here in Florida, doing podcasts around the Philadelphia sports teams, and watching sports.”

Alexa – “I love reading, and practicing self-care and mindfulness.”

If you could choose any movie or show to be the star of, what would you choose? Why?

MC – “I’d love to be in The West Wing. The fast-paced environment, problem-solving, and teamwork showcased in the show really resonate with me. I enjoy navigating challenges, working through complex issues, and collaborating with others to drive meaningful change—just like the characters do in the White House.”

Greg – “Kevin Costner’s character in Drafty Day, Sonny Weaver Jr., the only change is not the Cleaveland Browns haha.”

Alexa – “With my recent love of WICKED, I’d definitely choose to be in any musical. I’d somehow have to become the best singer in the world, overnight.”

What is one thing you can’t live without? Why is it important to you?

MC – “Hmmm… Can’t live without or don’t want to live without? I can’t live without music. Whether I need to focus, unwind, or boost my energy, there’s always a song that fits the moment. Music helps me stay motivated, relieves stress, and makes even the busiest days more enjoyable. I don’t want to live without MelloYello and sour gummies. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, needs a sweet treat now and again. Seriously, you deserve it.”

Greg – “MelloYello. If you know, you know. It’s my fuel.”

Alexa – “I can’t live without checklists. There’s a little joy in checking off tasks, turning each tick into a mini celebration.”

Thank you, MC, Greg, and Alexa, for taking the time to share about yourselves, and for letting us get to know you all a bit more!
