At InterSolutions, our over-arching philosophy is based on six Core Values. Six employees are selected annually, each awarded for upholding a certain core value to the highest degree over the past year. Core Value Awards are given at our Annual Event, most recently in Orlando, Florida. Hard work pays off, and for our winners, the awards are well-deserved. Let’s get to know this year’s Core Value Award winners!

 

Together Makes Better – Daniel Brown

As a team, we know passion, teamwork, and helping one another can turn a group of ordinary people into an unbeatable, winning team.

Dan is going into his 2nd year with InterSolutions and is loving every minute of it! He enjoys working with his teammates in the Maryland market, as well as in Region One overall. Whenever a teammate needs assistance, Dan is happy to help. Driven by a passion to see personal, and more importantly, team development, whether it’s attending a tradeshow in another market, joining in on Sales Blitzes, or even helping out with day-to-day challenges, Dan is there! His number one focus is the success of not only his market but the entirety of Region One. Dan has truly mastered how to embrace meaningful communication between sales and operations. Peers feel comfortable reaching out regarding SOPs, mutual clients, and advice on stucks. If they made a wrestling and/or boxing belt for teamwork and togetherness, Dan would deserve it!

 

We Are Good People – Carmen Justiniano

We are good people. Our guiding lights are honesty, integrity, generosity of spirit, kindness, and respect for one another.

Carmen has been in the staffing field for about 5 years now, possessing all of the qualities of “We Are Good People.” Through working with Carmen, one will see that these qualities are an everyday staple of her personality and that if she is going to do a job, she will do it thoroughly, correctly, and with integrity. Since Carmen joined the team in May 2022, she has overseen Maryland and had a helping hand in DC and Baltimore. Coming from a staffing background, Carmen says that she can really appreciate what InterSolutions offers and does for her and her team! Treating coworkers, teammates, clients, and employees with respect and care is crucial for her, and it is rare to see her without her signature smile or laugh. In her free time, Carmen enjoys reading books, crafting, attending her daughter’s softball games, watching TV, and being home and cozy with her family!

 

Get’er Done – Luci Samayoa

We accomplish our goals, even when the tasks are not easy and the going gets tough.

Winning this award shows just how much Luci exemplifies the essence of dedication, tenacity, and unwavering commitment to all tasks undertaken. In August, Luci will have been with InterSolutions for 2 years, and since joining the team, she has demonstrated an adaptable attitude and an eagerness to see results!  She says that during this time, she has loved meeting so many amazingly talented people. Not only is Luci incredibly invested in the philosophy of growth our organization is leading, but she also stands as an admirable example of what it truly means to embody the spirit of getting things done. Luci has a loving, supportive husband, 3 kids, and a sweet pup named Bronx who she says is her 4th child. Recently, Luci has been given a mentorship role, which she is very eager to take on. “I’m so beyond grateful for the opportunity InterSolutions has given me. I’ve grown so much in this short time and can honestly say I’m doing what I love! Let’s “Ger R’ Done!”‘

 

Carry your Moral Compass – Ryan Coggan

We do what is right and honest in every situation, even in the face of cost or consequences.

Ryan has been with InterSolutions for about 2 years, first joining the team as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator. After completing his B.S. in Business Administration and Human Resource Management, he returned to the team as the organization’s HR Coordinator, and now HR Generalist. On his journey with InterSolutions, Ryan has demonstrated the outstanding moral compass accomplishment of guidance and growth in his everyday tasks. The dedication and support that he has shown over the past year is exceptional, and he demonstrates a strong sense of morality. While Ryan typically wears many different hats in his role, his favorite aspect of his job is having the ability to welcome new employees to the organization during the onboarding process. “I love being able to be one of the first people our new team members meet! Joining a new company can be a daunting task for most, but having someone there for you to ask the “silly” questions and guide you through the transition can be invaluable. I take pride in being that person for our teammates.” In his free time, Ryan enjoys hiking, listening to live music, spending time with friends and family, and traveling! He loves exploring new places and cultures – his favorites have been Curaçao and Switzerland, and he is looking forward to his upcoming trip to Greece.

 

Innovative, Adaptive & Creative – Jing Paraoan

We actively look for new and better ways of doing things so we can continuously improve as a company and as individuals.

“May 15^th, 2023” is what Jing’s Regional Sales Manager, Dee, calls ONE of the best days of her life…That was Jing’s official first day of InterSolutions as the NorCal North Sales Executive. “I know I may not have been in my role for a full year but I come with excitement and creativity to my division. I will always be the energy in the room, call, visit, or even sales blitz.” Always thinking outside the box, with her sales hat on, ready to hit the street running, Jing has had the honor of being asked to be in a couple of sales blitzes and travel for InterSolutions to bring energy and charisma to a market, along with some creative visual aids to help sell to any potential client. Jing uses every resource available to get her into any closed office. She gains relationships through the use of social media and technology and has even been pushed out of her comfort zone on what her managers call her “Era Tour” to share her strategies and techniques with others… A true InterSolutions Swifty! Currently, Jing has 3 kids and has been married to her lovely wife for 14 years. Together, they love taking trips to Disney and anywhere far that has a beach. Jing is an avid fitness buff who loves to delve into high-intensity fitness events. “Who doesn’t love a great 5 am workout?”

 

Have Fun – Alex Martinez

We know not to take ourselves too seriously and we are committed to laughing at least 3 times a day.

Alex’s continuous joy and lighthearted approach to work is essential in embracing the principle of having fun and recognizing that laughter is not only good for the soul but also essential for fostering creativity. “What a wonderful place” was Alex’s initial thought when coming to work for InterSolutions. His dedication to laughter and ensuring that we never take ourselves too seriously uplifts our team’s morale and creates a vibrant, positive atmosphere, and so does his influx of Mariah Carey gifs to the team chat! Alex says that it has been an incredible journey and he has loved every minute of it. “Coming from a small town and then becoming this mega superstar (Alias Mariah C.) and then coming to work here you can imagine my excitement”! Alex worked in healthcare for the majority of his adult life, 16 years in fact, and he says he can’t even describe how great it feels to be able to help people in another capacity. Alex hopes to continue to grow in this wonderful industry! “Making it fun is optional, but if you get the chance, please with every fiber of your being, dance.”
